Lamberto "Bobby" Ballí, P.E., a South Texas Native, is vice president and director of South Texas public works for Halff Associates. He is past director of public works/city engineer for the cities of McAllen, South Padre Island and Brownsville, 2012 President of the American Public Works Association - Texas Chapter and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also a past senior advisor of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers of San Antonio, a past board member of Leadership Brownsville, Leadership McAllen and the Brownsville Boys and Girls Club, and a past board member and RGV American Red Cross Disaster Services Chairman. He was inducted as a Luminary Honoree by the Hispanic Engineering National Achievement Awards Conference - STEM Program. Ballí received a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. He resides in Boerne with his wife Fernanda and two children, Jose Alberto and Mari-Fer.
