Guidelines

The Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors has provided the following guidelines as interpretations of the Texas Engineering Practice Act (Act) and the Board rules. While these guidelines may be quite specific, they could be interpreted in a more general application in other scenarios. These guidelines have been approved by the Board and should be considered as an extension of the Act & Rules.
