Hours
Open 8-5 Monday through Friday except weekends and holidays.
Walk-in hours are 9-3 Monday through Friday.
Staff can be reached 8-5 by email or phone.
Two handicap access parking spots are available in the rear of the TBPELS facility.
One spot is van accessible and a wheelchair ramp is available.
Signs will direct visitors to the parking area.
Use the agency doorbell to alert staff when you have arrived.

Licensing and Registration
For questions regarding: PE, RPLS, LSLS, EIT, SIT, Firms, Applications, Renewals, or License Status please call 512-440-7723. After hours or if all representatives are busy, the call will be routed to the receptionist or agency voice mail. Licensing emails can be sent directly to: licensing@pels.texas.gov
Online Application & Payment Support
ECHO is currently the online payment and contact management system for engineers and engineering firms, but will be modified soon to accommodate surveyors and surveying firms. If you have any questions regarding using ECHO or applying online for a PE, EIT or an engineering firm, please email echohelp@pels.texas.gov
