TBPELS Webinars

Welcome to the TBPELS Free Webinar Program.  Launched in March 2013, the webinars have had an overwhelming response with attendees from all over Texas and the world. The Board is offering four quarterly and one monthly ethics webinars to assist license and registration holders with meeting their ethics requirement. Each one hour webinar provides an up-to-date overview of agency activities, case studies, and a review of professional ethics topics. Additional webinars are held several times each year for E.I.T.s (Engineers in Training), R.P.L.S. (Registered Professional Land Surveyors) or students. The student-based webinars will cover the exam and licensure process.

Information and Assistance

Alternative Login Instructions - An individual email confirmation will be sent to each registrant with instructions. If you can't find the email, login to the webinar at: http://www.gotomeeting.com/online/webinar/join-webinar using the webinar ID and the email address that you used when registering.

Group Observation of Webinar - If registering as a group with one webinar registration, provide a sign in sheet to attendees and keep the sign in sheet and a copy of the webinar registration for continuing education documentation purposes.

Registration - An individual email confirmation will be sent to each registrant with instructions. Registration for each free event will be opened and announced several weeks in advance. There is a maximum of 1,000 attendees for each webinar and they fill up quickly. We use a hosted solution by LogMeIn called GoToWebinar. If you have technical problems, our staff will do our best to assist you but we can't control the built-in security, software download requirements, or any other connectivity issues that you may experience. Helpful links are listed below. Please allow extra time before the event starts in case any problems arise.

We subscribe to their solution but do not have any control over the software package which must be installed on your computer or any connection issues you may be having. Continuing Education Program (CEP) Information

Webinars count toward CEP Requirements and specifically the one hour ethics requirement. Keep a copy of the email confirmation for proof of attendance. If you need multiple confirmations for shared registrations, our recommendation is that you create a log sheet for all attendees then provide a copy of the log sheet and confirmation to each attendee. This will be sufficient in the event that any PE is subject to a CEP audit by the Board.
