Welcome to the TBPELS Free Webinar Program. The Board is offering four quarterly and one monthly ethics webinars to assist license and registration holders with their ethics requirement. Additional webinars are held several times each year for E.I.T.s (Engineers in Training), R.P.L.S. (Registered Professional Land Surveyors), and students. Student-based webinars cover the exam and licensure process.
The Board is offering these free ethics webinars to assist license and registration holders with meeting their ethics requirement. Each one-hour webinar provides an overview of agency activities, case studies, and professional ethics topics.
An email confirmation will be sent to each registrant with instructions. Registration for each free event will be opened several weeks in advance. There is a maximum of 1,000 attendees for each webinar and they fill up quickly.
If you have any trouble please see "Information and Assistance" section below.
Registration links will be posted one month prior to each webinar. For registration open dates which occur on the weekend, the links will be posted on the following business day. PLEASE BE PATIENT IF LINKS ARE NOT POSTED IMMEDIATELY; JUST CHECK BACK LATER.
If registering as a group with one webinar registration, create a sign in sheet, provide a copy of the sign in sheet to each attendee, a copy of the "Thank you for attending" email the registered attendee will receive, and a copy of the pdf presentation available for download on the TBPELS website to document participation and for auditing purposes.
We use a hosted solution by LogMeIn called GoToWebinar. If you have technical problems, we will do our best to assist you but we can't control software or connectivity issues that you may experience. Helpful links are listed below. Please allow extra time before the event in case of any problems.
Please go directly to GoToWebinar (Parent Company is LogMeIn) for any technical support. We subscribe to their solution but do not have any control over the software or connection issues you may be having. The link takes you to a page where you can type in any issue. You can also call their toll free support line at: +1(833) 851-8340.
Webinars count toward CEP Requirements and specifically the one hour ethics requirement. Keep a copy of the email confirmation for proof of attendance. If you need multiple confirmations for shared registrations, our recommendation is that you create a log sheet for all attendees then provide a copy of the log sheet and confirmation to each attendee. This will be sufficient in the event that any PE is subject to a CEP audit by the Board.
Please provide feedback regarding these webinars and how we can make them better.
