Board Member Biography
Coleen M. Johnson, R.P.L.S., PMP
Coleen M. Johnson, R.P.L.S., PMP, is Market Leader, Transportation
for the Geospatial Division of WGI, Inc., a multi-disciplinary firm, and is
located in their Austin office. She is a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (R.P.L.S.)
and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Johnson is an active member of the community. She is a past president of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors where she has served in many capacities, and a past president of the Geographic & Land Information Society (GLIS), a former member organization of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM). She previously served on the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying (TBPLS).
Johnson was appointed to the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors (TBPELS) by Governor Abbott in January 2020 to serve as the RPLS Member. She currently serves as Board liaison to the Surveying Advisory Committee, the Chair of the Enforcement Committee and Secretary of the Board. She is a current member of the Examinations for Professional Surveyors (EPS) Committee of the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
Johnson received an Associate of Applied Science in Land Surveying Technology from Austin Community College.
